<br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />Date: June 7,2000 <br />To: City Council <br />From: Deborah Nelson <br />Re: CIP FY 2000/01,2001/02 <br /> <br />Attached are two revisions to the Capital Improvement Program. The first amendment is a <br />result of changes recommended by the Public Works Services Director. As a result of his <br />review of the final draft 10-year Sewer Enterprise Business Plan, the "ECR Groundwater <br />Mitigation" project should show an appropriation of $500,000 from fund balance in FY <br />2000/01 only. Subsequent annual appropriations should be zeroed out. The attached draft <br />budget replacement page 334 reflects the change reducing FY 01/02 expense for EI <br />Camino Groundwater mitigation from $500,000 to $0. <br /> <br />Second, an item has been added to the Grants category to reflect the County payment to <br />the Fields Renovation Project. An amount of $1,248,379 will be added to revenue and is <br />reflected as an expense on the attached draft budget replacement page 335 under the title <br />"County Contribution for School Play Fields." <br /> <br />Summary page 336 has also been amended to reflect both of the changes noted above. <br /> <br />As a result of these changes, we are attaching a complete finalized copy of the CIP <br />schedule for your records.
