REPORT <br /> To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From the City Manager <br /> July 10, 2000 <br /> Subject <br /> Acceptance of Deeds and the Grant of Easement to Pacific Gas & Electric Company — <br /> Pacific Shores Center - Engineering File No. 801-05 <br /> Recommendation <br /> 1. Direct the City Clerk to accept on behalf of the City, the following deeds offered by: <br /> a. Pacific Shores Development, LLC, a Quitclaim Deed to Redwood City for <br /> property owned by grantor and described in that deed from Pacific Shores <br /> Center Limited Partnership recorded as Instrument No. 2000-024460, and <br /> b. Cargill, Inc. a Quitclaim Deed to Redwood City for property owned by grantor <br /> and described as Parcel Two in Instrument No. 99076172, <br /> pursuant to Resolution No. 10944, adopted December 5, 1988, and to record a <br /> certified copy of the Resolution and the deeds in the office of the County Recorder <br /> of San Mateo County. <br /> 2. Adopt a resolution granting an easement to Pacific Gas & Electric Company <br /> (PG&E). <br /> Background <br /> Pacific Shores Development, LLC is required to construct a sanitary sewer pump <br /> station, a sewer force main, a water main with associated facilities, a storm water pump <br /> station, a storm drain force main, a storm drain system, and other street improvements <br /> for the extension of Seaport Boulevard. <br /> In order for the City to maintain the facilities, Pacific Shores Development, LLC and <br /> Cargill, Inc. are each required to dedicate public right-of-way for Seaport Boulevard. <br /> Pacific Shores Development, LLC and Cargill, Inc. have submitted the deeds and legal <br /> descriptions for the dedications, prepared by Bohley Consulting.
