Section 2 of Resolution No. 13622, entitled "Resolution Rescinding Resolutions No. 11497 and 12977 and Establishing Architectural Review Committee" (the `ARC Resolution) is hereby amended to read as follows: "2. Architectural Review Committee. The Architectural Review Committee (the "Committee") of the City of Redwood City, consisting of five members, is hereby estabfished. At least three members of the Committee shall be licensed architects or landscape architects residing or working in the City of Redwood City, or its sphere of influence (as described by and in the General Plan of the City of Redwood City). The remaining members of the Committee shall be residents of the City of Redwood City interested in civic matters. Members of the Committee shall be appointed by the City Council following oral interview and in consideration of professional qualifications and such other matters pertaining to civic interests as the Council deems appropriate. The Architectural Review Committee shall also consist of three (3) altemates which shall include two (2) architects or landscape architects residing or working in the City of Redwood City or its spheres of influence and one (1) resident of the City of Redwood City interested in civic matters (the `Alternate Members')." 2. Section 3 of the ARC Resolution is hereby amended to read as follows: 3. Terms of Membership. The term of office of each member (including Alternate Members) of the Architectural Advisory Committee shall be four (4) years, expiring on May 31 of the fourth year; provided, however, that appointments to the Committee shall be made such that terms shall expire in even-numbered years. The members in good standing of the Architectural Advisory Committee ("AAC") shall constitute the rnembers of Reeo-730 F/sh/eh/RC/Council FXS : rg 13 7 3 0 OS/18/99 2
