Section 2 of Resolution No. 13622, entitled "Resolution Rescinding Resolutions <br /> No. 11497 and 12977 and Establishing Architectural Review Committee" (the `ARC <br /> Resolution) is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "2. Architectural Review Committee. The Architectural Review Committee (the <br /> "Committee") of the City of Redwood City, consisting of five members, is hereby <br /> estabfished. At least three members of the Committee shall be licensed architects or <br /> landscape architects residing or working in the City of Redwood City, or its sphere of <br /> influence (as described by and in the General Plan of the City of Redwood City). The <br /> remaining members of the Committee shall be residents of the City of Redwood City <br /> interested in civic matters. Members of the Committee shall be appointed by the City <br /> Council following oral interview and in consideration of professional qualifications and <br /> such other matters pertaining to civic interests as the Council deems appropriate. <br /> The Architectural Review Committee shall also consist of three (3) altemates which <br /> shall include two (2) architects or landscape architects residing or working in the City of <br /> Redwood City or its spheres of influence and one (1) resident of the City of Redwood City <br /> interested in civic matters (the `Alternate Members')." <br /> 2. Section 3 of the ARC Resolution is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> 3. Terms of Membership. The term of office of each member (including Alternate <br /> Members) of the Architectural Advisory Committee shall be four (4) years, expiring on May <br /> 31 of the fourth year; provided, however, that appointments to the Committee shall be <br /> made such that terms shall expire in even-numbered years.
