<br />'1M-3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 2000-2001 EMERGENCY <br />ELECTRICAL REPAIRS SERVICE; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br />the 2000-2001 Emergency Electrical Repairs Service in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Public Works <br /> <br />Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Republic Electric of Novato, California is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Republic Electric; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Republic Electric in the amount of Seventeen Thousand <br /> <br />Five Hundred Ninety-four and No/100 Dollars ($17,594.00), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated June 13, 2000 for the 2000-2001 <br /> <br />Emergency Electrical Repairs Service, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />Reso-945 <br />DES:djk <br />F :/Shared/Redwood/Counci <br />07/11/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />-- T . <br />
