On-going community education and awareness. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Lockheed Martin will customize a program for the City of Redwood City. If five cameras are <br />installed, there are no up-front fees to the City of Redwood City. The costs associated with the <br />construction and installations are then amortized over the first year. If less than five cameras are <br />installed, the City must pay construction and installation fees up front (approximately $30,000 per <br />camera location). Upon identification of five (or more) locations where the City experiences a high <br />number of traffic accidents, Lockheed Martin will conduct both visual and video monitoring of those <br />locations. If there are less than 30 violations per day, the City is not be obligated to continue with <br />that location.
