MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST - <br /> <br />A) Governor's Transportation Plan; <br /> <br />Mayor Ruskin explained the letter and resolution presented and requested adoption of the <br />resolution and authorization to send a cover letter to Governor Gray Davis. <br /> <br />M/S Howard/Claire to authorize Mayor Ruskin to send a letter to Governor Davis in <br />support of the items. The motion passed by a majority voice vote with Council Member <br />Jordan voting no. MEMO <br /> <br />B) Edgewood Traffic Calming Ad Hoc Group Report: <br /> <br />Council Member Pierce gave the background information and asked that the City partner <br />with the Redwood Oaks Neighborhood Association to find a location for one or two <br />additional humps on Orchard.
