<br />I. City Manager Everett explained that in the review of the budget, staff had placed the <br />Shelter Network budget in the City Council budget for review and approval. As the cover <br />letter stated, upon approval, the Shelter Network budget would be moved to the HSF A <br />budget. This is notification that upon approval of the ordinance, the Shelter Network budget <br />will move into HSF A budget and separate from the amount of funds allocated to HSF A <br />earmarked specifically to Shelter Network. <br /> <br />MIS HartnettIHoward to adopt ORDINANCE 2195 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />ADOPTING THE FINAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br />YEAR JULY 1, 2000- JUNE 30, 2001; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATION AND <br />EXPENDITURE OF ALL SUMS SET FORTH IN SET BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR <br />EMERGENCY EXPENDITURES, TRANSFERS, ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS, <br />CANCELLATIONS AND REAPPROPRIATIONS OF EXISTING APPROPRIATIONS; <br />ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR JULY 1-2000 JUNE 30, 2001; MAKING PROVISION FOR INTERIM <br />EXPENDITURES AS OF JULY 1, 2000; AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 2176, AND ALL <br />ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT THEREWITH (first reading on 6/26/00). <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote. <br /> <br />7. BOARDS, COMMISSION, COMMITTEE REPORTS AND APPOINTMENTS - <br /> <br />Mayor Ruskin explained that City Council appointments volunteer members to boards, <br />committees and commissions to assist the Council in administering and governing the City. He <br />thanked everyone who applied for their commitment and willingness to serve the community. <br /> <br />City Clerk Howe explained the voting process for selection to the Architectural Review <br />Committee would be to first vote from the list of nominees for the two 4-year terms and follow <br />with the vote for alternates. The Civic Cultural Commission and Planning Commission votes <br />followed. A roll call vote was conducted with each Council Member naming his or her <br />nominees in each category. The successful nominees were armounced. Following is the vote <br />tally in each category. <br /> <br />i) <br /> <br />a.)
