<br />'lL- 3. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 2000-2001 TRAFFIC <br />SIGNAL LOOP REPLACEMENT PROGRAM; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> <br />the 2000-2001 Traffic Signal Loop Replacement Program in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the Department of Public Works <br /> <br />Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Republic Electric of Novato, California is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Republic Electric; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Republic Electric, in the total amount of Seventeen <br /> <br />Thousand Six Hundred Twenty and No/100 Dollars ($17,620.00), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated May 26, 2000 for the 2000-2001 Traffic <br /> <br />Signal Loop Replacement Program, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />Reso.943 <br />F: \s h a red\Redwood\Cou ncil <br />DES:djk <br />07111/00 <br /> <br />,_. ._- ~.
