REPORT To the Honorable Mayor and City Council From the City Manager August 14, 2000 Subject Annexation to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District Engineering File No. 1206-04 Recommendation Adopt a resolution approving the sewer annexation of Assessor's Parcel No. 058-243- 210 to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District, subject to the conditions that: (1) a sewer connection fee of $550.00 per connection is paid to the City; and (2) that the property owner signs an annexation agreement with the City consenting to future annexation of the property to Redwood City. Background Pursuant to the Redwood City/Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District Agreement dated March 18, 1958, the County of San Mateo and the property owner of APN-058-243-210 has requested permission from the City to annex this property to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District. The information of the property owner and his property is as follows: Name Assessor's Parcel No. John Raleigh 058-243-210 The application was submitted by San Mateo County and has been reviewed by the City's Engineering and Construction. The purpose of this application is to provide this property with sanitary sewer service from the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District. The sewer capacity needed to service this property is part of the 0.5 million galtons per day the County has allocated by the Emerald Lake Heights Capacity Agreement with the City of Redwood City 'dated August 19, 1980. A complete copy of the Agreement is available for review in the City Clerk's office.
