This letter communicates our proposed work scope for that project as well as our <br />projected fees. <br /> <br />WORK SCOPE <br /> <br />1. HF&H will research and review the existing modified November 8, 1999 Agreement and <br />amendments to the Agreement. <br /> <br />2. HF&H will prepare a draft copy of a revised and amended Agreement that incorporates; 1) <br />the existing approved amendments, 2) the minor language modifications of the March 1, <br />2000 SBWMA approved Model Franchise Agreement, and 3) the proposed contract <br />extension language. <br /> <br />3. HF&H will support the City staff by attending meetings with City staff to answer any <br />questions regarding the revised and amended Agreement and if requested HF&H will <br />follow with a presentation for the Council meeting. <br /> <br />PROJECTED FEES <br /> <br />Because of the nature of this engagement, we propose to bill you on a time and materials basis <br />at our standard billing rates. Our estimated fee, including out-of-pocket expenses, for <br />performing this project as described above, is $8,000 to $10,000 depending on the complexity of <br />the procedures and the number of meetings.
