<br />7. 313 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE 2000-2001 <br />TRUCKING AND HAULING SERVICE PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 2000-2001 Trucking <br /> <br />and Hauling Service Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Greg's Trucking, Inc. of San Mateo, California is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Greg's Trucking, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Greg's Trucking, Inc. in the amount Forty Three Thousand <br /> <br />Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($43,550.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated June 24, 2000 for the 2000-2001 Trucking and hauling Service <br /> <br />Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement" (form dated 8/15/00) by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California and Greg's Trucking, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />Reso-969 <br />F :/Sha red/Redwood/Co u nci I <br />FXS/fs <br />08/07/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />, '~---.
