<br />7. 7Ct <br /> <br />0 R DIN A N C E N O. <br /> <br />--------- -- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38.5 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO WATER SERVICE <br />CHARGES AND FEES <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 38.5 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is <br /> <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Water Service Charge. In addition to all other <br /> <br />"Section 38.5. <br /> <br />charges and fees applicable to users of water from the water system <br /> <br />owned or operated by the City of Redwood City, as established by the <br /> <br />Water Rules and Regulations of the Department of Public Works Services, <br /> <br />as amended, and this chapter, residential and non-residential monthly <br /> <br />water service charges shall be paid for each water service within the water <br /> <br />service areas and at the rates and upon the effective dates as follows: <br /> <br />"(a) <br /> <br />Residential Water Service Charge. <br /> <br />A monthly water <br /> <br />service charge for each dwelling unit or dwelling unit equivalent ('DUE') for <br /> <br />each such unit used, or intended for use, as a single-family residential <br /> <br />dwelling, irrespective of whether such service is furnished through a single <br /> <br />meter for multiple dwelling units or through individual meters for each <br /> <br />dwelling unit, is hereby established as follows: <br /> <br />Ord-111 <br />G :/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />DES:rg <br />07/10/00 rev 8/04/00 pci <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />""T'"-- -."" -"'"-y-"'"'"" <br />
