/013 2-

Alternative
Retain the Committee, until it can evaluate the results, and advise the Council regarding a
repeat of traffic data collection in the Edgewood Park area, following the reshaping of the
Edgewood humps, to confirm traffic trends and impacts in the neighborhood. This assumes
that Council directs staff to reshape the humps and conduct such repeat traffic data collection,
as recommended by the Committee. To accomplish this additional task, the Committee would
probably be retained for an additional six months. The consequence of this alternative is that it
dalays the desired opportunity for the entire Council to participate in the presentation and
discussion of this issue in a less formal Study Session format.

Fiscal Impact
There are no fiscal impacts to the City by this action.

Respectlully SUbm~

~~
r ara Pierce, Chair
Edgewood Traffic Calming Committee

BP/RKH:ss
5/Jibrary/fepOrTs/richardiedgewood traffic calming committee report 10 counciLB,2B.OO
