7. -sF7 EXHIBIT A ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE The Operations Committee (composed of senior staff from each of the funding partners of Redwood City 2000 (RC 2000) - City of Redwood City, San Mateo County, Redwood City School District and Sequoia Union High School District, and a member of the Community Action Network) will meet monthly and work by consensus to assist the RC 2000 Executive Director to develop recommendations to be presented to the Coordinating Council. The Operations Committee will take proposals that meet the following criteria to the Coordinating Council: The project connects with RC 2000 vision and partner agency goals. A. The project requires member agency resources (money, people, facilities, time). B. C. The project has a broad impact. The Operations Committee has revi,ewed the proposal and prepared a presentation for the Coordinating Council. In addition the Operations Committee will: D. Recruit and hire and/or contract for an Executive Director, Civic Engagement and Leadership Coordinator and .5FTE Administrative Clerk E. F. Supervise the Executive Director Develop operating agreements for approval by the Coordinating Council G. Oversee the implementation of Redwood City 2000's Civic Engagement and Leader and Leadership Development strategy H. Develop standards and criteria for the work completed by Redwood City 2000 for approval by the Coordinating Council Develop annual budget for approval by Coordinating Council I. The Coordinating Council, composed of one representative from each of the funding partner's governing Boards (and one alternate member from each of these boards), the members of the Operations Committee and non-elected community member, will meet quarterly to: 5 "'~""'---"""-"T'"
