'J..--A Î <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR CHILD CARE SUBSIDIES PROGRAM <br /> <br />(MESSIAH UNITED LUTHERAN CHURCH) <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Messiah United Lutheran Church (Contractor) conducts a child <br /> <br />care subsidies program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July I. 2000. and ending June 30. 2001: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor. the sum of Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10.000.00) from <br /> <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to. and <br /> <br />reviewed by. this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY. AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled. "Agreement for Child Care Subsidies Program." <br /> <br />(form dated 8/15/00). by and between the City of Redwood City and the Messiah United <br /> <br />Lutheran Church. a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk. to <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br />
