<br />~. ~..A i <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR FACILILTY RENOVATION <br /> <br />(POPLAR RECARE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Poplar ReCare (Contractor) conducts an educational and <br /> <br />vocational services program for infants, children, adults, and seniors with disabilities for <br /> <br />residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July L 2000, and ending June 30.2001: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor. the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15.000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to. and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, Agreement for Facility Renovation (Poplar <br /> <br />Recare) (form dated 008/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Poplar <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
