A \\ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR FAIR HOUSING COUNSELING <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />(MIDPENINSULA CITIZENS FOR FAIR HOUSING) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Midpeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing (Contractor) conducts a <br /> <br />fair housing counseling program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />(the <br /> <br />Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July I, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Eight Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifteen and <br /> <br />nolI 00 Dollars ($38.315.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for <br /> <br />the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />"r-"--" "-"""T" <br />
