<br />ry.~..A \~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND <br />TRAINING FOR MICROENTERPRISES (SMALL BUSINESS <br />DEVELOPMENT CENTER) <br /> <br />SAN MATEO COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT/ <br />CANADA COLLEGE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, San Mateo County Community College District/Canada College <br /> <br />(Contractor) conducts a job training program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />(the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1,2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />al1ocate to Contractor, the sum of One Hundred Two Thousand Three Hundred and <br /> <br />no/l 00 Dollars ($102,300.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for <br /> <br />the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />',.'-'.'-"'---'T" <br />
