<br />,?'J..A \'1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br />REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br /> <br />(CA THOLIC CHARITIES ADULT DAY CENTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Catholic Charities Adult Day Center (Contractor) conducts an adult <br /> <br />day support services program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July L 2000, and ending June 30,2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor. the sum of Ten Thousand and nol100 Dollars ($10,000.00) from <br /> <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to. and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled. "Agreement for Adult Day Support Services for <br /> <br />Redwood City Seniors," (fonn dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />.~_.._..~ <br />
