<br />i]. 2: At' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR CLARA-MATEO HOMELESS REHABILITATION SHELTER <br /> <br />(CLARA-MA TEO ALLIANCE, INc.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization that <br />provides a homeless rehabilitation shelter program for homeless individuals, couples and <br /> <br />families, which services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br />WHEREAS, Clara-Mateo Alliance, Inc., has requested financial assistance for use by it <br /> <br />in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, <br /> <br />2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate <br /> <br />to Contractor, the sum of Ten Thousand and noll 00 Dollars ($10,000.00) from the Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council: and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and <br /> <br />authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br />",-.......-..,....." <br />
