'Å'A'U <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR AIDS CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br />(ELLIPSE PENINSULA AIDS SERVICES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula AIDS Services (Contractor) conducts an AIDS <br /> <br />case management program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program): and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30. 2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand and no/1 00 Dollars ($5.000.00) from <br /> <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for AIDS Case Management <br /> <br />Program." (fonn dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />Ellipse Peninsula AIDS Services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> <br />8/1 5/00 <br />
