<br />Tj.~ A;5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR HOMESHARING HELP AND <br />INFORMA TION PROGRAM <br /> <br />(HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Human Investment Project (Contractor) conducts a <br /> <br />homesharing help and infonnation program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />(the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />al1ocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen Thousand and nollOO Dollars ($15,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Homesharing Help and <br /> <br />Infonnation," (fonn dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br /> <br />'T"""'--' ...... -""'T'" <br />
