<br />"1.1" A ~ \ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM - <br />SPRING STREET SHELTER <br /> <br />(MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County (Contractor) <br /> <br />conducts an emergency shelter program for single persons with mental disabilities who <br /> <br />reside in the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July I. 2000, and ending June 30. 2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor. the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/1 00 Dollars ($15,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />r"'-~"T ' <br />
