<br />~.'kA$ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR ADULT DAY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR <br />REDWOOD CITY SENIORS <br /> <br />(PENINSULA VOLUNTEERS, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Volunteers, Inc., (Contractor) conducts an adult day <br /> <br />support services for seniors of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1,2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twelve Thousand Two Hundred and no/1 00 Dollars <br /> <br />($12.200.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />"~._""'~"T"- <br />
