<br />~.~"A~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR OPERATION BROWN BAG <br /> <br />(SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF <br />SANTA CLARA AND SAN MATEO COUNTIES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties <br /> <br />(Contractor) conducts an Operation Brown Bag program for residents of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 200]; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Five Thousand and no/1 00 Dollars ($5,000.00) from <br /> <br />its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Operation Brown Bag Program." <br /> <br />(form dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and the Second Harvest <br /> <br />8/15/00 <br /> <br />¡-----""Y' . <br />
