<br />'l.'¡.~A?)l <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR MAPLE STREET EMERGENCY <br />SHEL TER AND TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM <br /> <br />(SHEL TER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Shelter Network of San Mateo County (Contractor) conducts a <br /> <br />emergency shelter. transitional housing. and comprehensive suppon services for <br /> <br />homeless individuals who reside in the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1. 2000. and ending June 30.2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor. the sum of Founeen Thousand seven Hundred and nolI 00 Dollars <br /> <br />($14.700) from its Community Development Block Grant Funds for the foregoing <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />-..,..------ .-----r' , <br />
