<br />'J.l.A~~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR DAYBREAK SHELTER FOR HOMELESS <br />YOUTH <br /> <br />(YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Youth and Family Assistance (Conttactor) conducts a shelter for <br /> <br />homeless youth program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Conttactor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> <br />the Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty Thousand and no/1 00 Dollars ($20,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That cenain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Daybreak Shelter for Homeless <br /> <br />Youth," (fonn dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and Youth and <br /> <br />"ï'"--""'-"Y"'"' " <br />
