<br />7.1:A4~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR KAINOS RESIDENTIAL FACll..ITIES REHABll..ITATION <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />(KAINOS HOME AND TRAINING CENTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center conducts a residential and training program <br /> <br />for developmentally disabled adults of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to rehabilitate the La <br /> <br />Vista facility during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate <br /> <br />to Contractor, the sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand and No/lOO Dollars ($150,000.00) from <br /> <br />¡s HOME Partnership Investment Program funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said agreement and <br /> <br />authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Kainos Residential Facilities Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Project." (form dated 8/15/00), by and between the City of Redwood City and the Kainos Home <br /> <br />and Training Center. a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />X/15/00 <br /> <br />ï'-.-.--.'" .. <br />
