<br />T]. ~.. 3.1. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT WITH PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION <br />CENTER FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br />COMMUNITY MEDIATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center ("PCRC"), a non-profit <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, presently operates the Redwood City <br /> <br />community boards program, the purpose of which is to improve neighborhood <br /> <br />and community communication, in furtherance of the public order, health and <br /> <br />welfare in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, PCRC represents that it is qualified and experienced to <br /> <br />perform the aforesaid conflict resolution services required for said Program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for the Provision of <br /> <br />Community Mediation Services", by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and Peninsula Conflict <br /> <br />Resolution Center, for the performance of the above-mentioned services, a copy <br /> <br />of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br /> <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br /> <br />Reso-988 <br />F: \shared\redwood\council <br />FXS:djk <br />09/01/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
