<br />(,11 <br /> <br />r <br /> <br />T] .2.A~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS FOR THE <br />REDWOOD SHORES SA YFRONT SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> <br />(CH2MHILL) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires an environmental analysis in order to <br /> <br />understand the potential significance of environmental impact associated with <br /> <br />development under the Redwood Shores Bay Front Specific Plan (the "Project"); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of an <br /> <br />environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §2100 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br /> <br />the City's RegulatiQr:ls implementive thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br /> <br />determined that an initial Study is required and that further environmental review <br />and preparation o'(a Negative Declaration or Environmental Impact Report may <br /> <br />be required (the "Environmental Review"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the South Bayside System Authority has agreed to pay for <br /> <br />the Initial Study and the Environmental Review; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires professional environmental <br /> <br />analysis services; and <br /> <br />Reso-992 <br />F:\sh\sh\redwood\council <br />FXS:rg <br />09/07/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />11 <br />
