This bucket truck was part
of the new Cal-Osha regulation which required mandatory retirement on bucket
trucks 25 years and older manufactured by Pitman. This bucket truck was not
replaced.
Exhibit "B" — Served as a front line sweeper for twelve years. Due to the condition
and high maintenance cost, this street sweeper was replaced on April 19, 1999.
Exhibit "C" — This 17 year old aerial unit no longer met the Fire Department's
operational requirements, was experiencing major mechanical problems and by far
exceeded our downtime standard for emergency response vehicles. This unit was
replaced on January 5, 2000.
. . _ _ r ._ . _ ,r
