Furthermore, the existing facilities were not <br /> designed to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act requirement. <br /> This project will replace the existing restroom with new prefabricated restroom at the <br /> same location. The features included in the new restroom are: <br /> ➢ standard toilets <br /> ➢ wheel chair accessible toilets <br /> ➢ lavatory <br /> ➢ urinal <br /> ➢ mirror <br /> � tissue dispenser <br /> ➢ paper towel dispenser <br /> ➢ sanitary napkin disposal <br /> ➢ grab bars <br /> ➢ drinking fountain <br /> Minor renovation of the existing landscape, irrigation automation system, and sidewalk <br /> are also included in this project. <br /> The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $130,000. <br /> Due to the small size of this project and the construction climate, only one bid was <br /> received .at the bid opening, September 13, 2000. Based on the previous project <br /> (Marlin & Stafford Parks Restroom Facilities — 1998), the low bid was $267,000 for two <br /> restrooms replacement.
