REPOR T <br /> To the Honorabie Mayor and City Council <br /> From the City Manager <br /> October 16, 2000 <br /> Subject <br /> Improvement Agreements for Lot 6 and Lot 9— Pacific Shores Center <br /> Engineering File No. 801-05 <br /> Recommendation <br /> Adopt two separate resolutions approving and authorizing execution of an Improvement <br /> Agreement for: <br /> 1. 1400 Seaport Boulevard (Lot 9), and <br /> 2. 1600 Seaport Boulevard (Lot 6). <br /> Background <br /> On July 21, 1998, the Planning Commission approved the Tentative Map and Planned <br /> Development Permit for the Pacific Shores Center Subdivision, consisting of 1,550,000 <br /> square feet of office space on approximately 106 acres. The subdivision is located at <br /> the end of Seaport Boulevard, adjacent to the RMC Lonestar property. On June 12, <br /> 2000, the subdivision map for Pacific Shores Center was approved by the City Council. <br /> The developer, Pacific Shores Development, LLC, is in the process of developing the <br /> site. The developer's engineers, Bohley Consulting of San Mateo, California, has <br /> completed the improvement plans for Lot 6 and Lot 9, in accordance with the City's <br /> Ordinances and their Planned Development Permit. The developer is required to post <br /> Faithful Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of $3,059,000 for Lot 9 <br /> and $2,852,000 for Lot 6. <br /> Complete copies of the agreements are available for review in the City Clerk's office. <br /> Fiscal Impacts <br /> There are no fiscal impacts to the City.
