�.z- �� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE AUDITING, GEOCODING, AND <br /> ASSOCIATED CONSULTING SERVICES FOR UTILITY USERS <br /> TAX/FRANCHISE COMPLIANCE AND REVENUE PROTECTION <br /> PROGRAM FOR THE CiTY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City ("City") requires professional <br /> services in furtherance of a comprehensive utility users tax/franchise compliance <br /> and revenue protection program in conjunction with the legal and protective <br /> services of City's outside counsel, Donald H. Maynor, A Professional Law <br /> Corporation ("Firm"); and <br /> WHEREAS, MBIA MuniServices Company/Municipal Resource <br /> Consultants ("MMC"), represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the City; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement to Provide Auditing, <br /> Geocoding, and Associated Consulting Services for Utility Users Ta�Franchise <br /> Compliance and Revenue Protection Program for the City of Redwood City" <br /> (form dated 10/13/00), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California, and MBIA Muni/Services <br /> Company/Municipal Resource Consultants, for the performance of the above- <br /> mentioned services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> Reso-1019 � <br /> FXS: rg <br /> F:IshIsh/Redwood/Council <br /> 10/13l00 <br /> _.___._....._.._. _ __. <br /> __ _. . �_...__ _ __ __ _.. <br />
