_,- <br /> REPORT � <br /> To the_Honorable Mayor and Crty_yCouncil : <br /> � � ;� _ . . <br /> From t�ie City Manager _ .� <br /> October 23, 2000 <br /> Subject <br /> Guidelines for City of Redwood City's Contribution toward Carrington Hall <br /> Recommendation <br /> Approve the Guidelines To Be Used In Releasing City Funds For Carrington Hall Renovation <br /> Proj ect. <br /> Background <br /> The Carrington Hall Auditorium Rescue Operation (CHARO) Board of Directors approached the <br /> � City of Redwood City asking the City to partner with them in renovating Carrington Hall because it <br /> is a community resource. At the July 10, 2000 City Council meeting, Council allocated $250,000 in <br /> CIP funds for fiscal year 2001/2002 towards the renovation. Council indicated that the funds would <br /> be granted in the form of matching funds and asked staff to develop guidelines for the release of <br /> those funds. <br /> Fiscal Impact <br /> There is no fiscal impact in terms of the adoption of the guidelines.
