<br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Redwood City, State
<br /> of California will hold a public hearing to adopt, by resolution, the amended 1989-99
<br /> Housing Element of the Redwood City General Plan.
<br /> Background: On May 15, 2000 the State Housing and Community Development
<br /> Department (HCD) adopted Redwood City's amended Housing Element for the 1989-
<br /> 99 planning period after determining that the Housing Element addressed all statutory
<br /> requirements of State Housing Element law. Following State adoption of the Housing
<br /> Element, Redwood City's City Code (Chapter 18) requires a public hearing by the City
<br /> Council to adopt the Housing Element.
<br /> Said hearing will be held on the 23� of October, 2000, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in City
<br /> Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Council Chamber, Redwood City, Cafifornia.
<br /> You have the right to comment on the Redwood City Housing Element at the Public
<br /> Hearing. Copies of the document are on file for review at Planning and
<br /> Redevelopment Services, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA 94063. You may
