�'� �� <br /> (10/23/00) <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Redwood City — San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 2000, . <br /> by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> California (hereinafter referred to as "City") and Redwood City — San Mateo County <br /> Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as "Chamber"); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Chamber has requested City to provide moneys during the fiscal <br /> year commencing July 1, 2000, and ending June 30, 2001 for the maintenance and <br /> improvement of the economy of the City of Redwood City by the general promotion and <br /> development of local industry and commerce in the City of Redwood City, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that the promotion and development of the <br /> industrial and commercial economy of the City of Redwood City is vital to the present <br /> and future well-bring of all segments of the City of Redwood City, is in the public <br /> interest, and benefits the entire community; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. CONTRACT AMOUNT City shall allocate to Chamber the sum of $38,250 <br /> (Thirty Eight Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars) for exclusive use by the <br /> Chamber. <br /> 2.
