<br />'7.~-Â1 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are, and each of them is, true and correct and the <br /> <br />Council so determines. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The Council of the City of the City of Redwood City hereby finds and <br /> <br />determines that the public necessity, health. safety and welfare require the establishment of an <br /> <br />underground utility district to accomplish the purposes set forth in Resolution No. 14079, <br /> <br />adopted 14079, by said Council, within the area described in Exhibit "A" hereof. attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein; and this Council hereby further finds and determines <br /> <br />that each and all of the following specific matters in furtherance of the general public interest <br /> <br />exist with relation to said underground utility district: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Such undergrounding will avoid or eliminate an unusually heavy concentration of <br />overhead electric facilities. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The streets, roads, alleys, or ways in the district are extensively used by the <br />general public and carry a heavy volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Said District is hereby established and declared formed. and designated <br /> <br />as "UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 2000-1". <br /> <br />SECTION 4. ,The boundaries of the District are hereby fixed and determined as set <br />forth and described in Exhibit "A". Reference is hereby made to the map of said District <br /> <br />boundaries as depicted on Exhibit "B" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein, for a general description of the District. <br /> <br />SECTION 5.
