<br />AREA RATIO RESPECTIVELY, IN THE "IR" (INDUSTRIAL RESTRICTED) ZONING
<br />DISTRICT; AMENDING SECTIONS 18.2 AND 18.4 OF, AND ADDING SECTION 18.17
<br />TO, SAID ORDINANCE RELATING TO PERMITTED USES, CONDITIONAL USES AND
<br />FLOOR AREA RATIO, RESPECTIVELY, IN THE "IP" (INDUSTRIAL PARK) ZONING

<br />The motion passed by a majority roll call vote (required 6 affirmative votes) with
<br />Council Member Jordan voting no.

<br />Road and Landscape Improvements at the Intersection of Redwood Shores
<br />Parkway/Airport Way/Skyway Road;
<br />
<br />Council M~mber Jordan stated her concern with the item being listed on the Consent
<br />Calendar. She further stated the City meeting with the Redwood Shores Owners' and
<br />Redwood Shores Homeowners' Associations after the fact was not necessarily the
<br />correct approach. She requested the proposed landscaping plan and the design for an
<br />entry directional sign be presented to the RSOA and RSHOA prior to the City's
<br />reVIew.

<br />Mr. Murphy stated his concern with the City giving away parts of Redwood City.
<br />
<br />City Manager Everett explained this topic came from San Carlos' concern for
<br />landscape of the area and Redwood City concurred. This process will allow San Carlos
<br />to landscape this area that is a business entry onto Skyway Road. San Carlos is able to
<br />
