<br />? ~-D{P <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING AND DESIGN <br />SERVICES - GARFIELD CHARTER SCHOOL SPORTS FIELD <br />RENOVATION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California, ("City") , and THE BEALS GROUP, INC. of San Jose, California <br /> <br />("Consultant") ; <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the improvements of Garfield Charter School playing <br /> <br />field in the unincorporated area of San Mateo County (the "Projecr); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting engineering and design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant shall perform consulting <br /> <br />engineering and design services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by <br /> <br />this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br /> <br />upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the performance of <br /> <br />said services.
