<br />7. 3 . £ i <br /> <br />REPORT <br /> <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the Ci Mana er <br /> <br />November 13, 2000 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Improvement Agreement - Blomquist lEast Bayshore Road Realignment - Pacific <br />Shores Center - Engineering File No. 801-05 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Adopt a resolution approving the Plans, and authorizing execution of an Improvement <br />Agreement for Blomquist Street/East Bayshore Road Realignment. <br /> <br />Background <br />On July 21, 1998, the Planning Commission approved the Tentative Map and Planned <br />Development Permit for the Pacific Shores Center Subdivision, consisting of 1,550,000 <br />square feet of office space on approximately 106 acres. The subdivision is located at <br />the end of Seaport Boulevard, adjacent to the RMC Lonestar property. On June 12, <br />2000, the subdivision map for Pacific Shores Center was approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />A condition of approval for traffic mitigation was the realignment of East Bayshore Road <br />to Blomquist Street prior to occupancy. <br /> <br />The developer, Pacific Shores Development, LLC, is in the process of developing the <br />site. The developer's engineers, Bohley Consulting of San Mateo, California, has <br />completed the Improvement Plans for Blomquist Street/East Bayshore Road <br />Realignment, in accordance with the City's Ordinances and their Planned Development <br />Permit. The developer is required to post Faithful Performance and Payment Bonds, <br />each in the amount of $1 ,365,000. <br /> <br />Complete copies of the agreements are available for review in the City Clerk's office. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />There are no fiscal impacts to the City.
