<br />7. 3 - £ 5 <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />FOR <br /> <br />CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR BLOMQUIST STREET/EAST <br />BAYSHORE ROAD REALIGNMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this - day of <br /> <br />,2000, <br /> <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of <br /> <br />California, ("City"). and PACIFIC SHORES DEVELOPMENT, LLC, a Delaware limited <br /> <br />liability company, and the owner of record of said real property located at the end of <br /> <br />Seaport Boulevard, Redwood City, California ("Owner"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Owner proposes to construct street improvements on Blomquist <br /> <br />Street and East Bayshore Road (the "Property") situated in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />County of San Mateo, State of California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Owner has requested that construction of certain improvements (as <br /> <br />defined below), title to which is proposed to be conveyed to City for public purposes, be <br /> <br />constructed at the Property, which improvements are to be constructed in accordance <br /> <br />with, and as required by, the plans, specifications, and details hereinafter described; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in order to ensure satisfactory performance by Owner of <br /> <br />Owner's obligations under Article VII, Chapter 29, General Street Improvements, of the <br /> <br />Code of the City of Redwood City, and in consideration of the approval of the <br /> <br />improvements for the Property, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Improvements. Owner shall, at Owner's own cost and expense, construct all <br /> <br />of the improvements ("Improvements"), furnish all the materials, and do all the work <br /> <br />hereinafter described in accordance with, and as provided for in, the plans prepared for <br /> <br />Owner by Bohley Consulting Civil Engineers, entitled, "Improvement Plans for Blomquist <br /> <br />Agmt-415 <br />F:lSharedlRedwoodlCouncil <br />FXS:djk <br />10/24/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />..
