<br />IJ.3-DI <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD <br />SHORES STREET SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13958, adopted July 24, 2000, <br /> <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Redwood Shores Street System <br /> <br />Improvements Project in the City of Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, seven bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, RGW Construction Inc. of Livermore, California is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to RGW Construction Inc; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of RGW Construction Inc. in the amount of Two Million Two <br /> <br />Hundred Twenty-nine Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-three and 55/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($2,229,323.55), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />October 18, 2000 for the Redwood Shores Street System Improvements Project, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />Reso-1 029 <br />F :/Shared/Redwood/Cou nci I <br />DES:djk <br />11/06/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />. -¡---.
