Brock & Sons, Inc. <br />Lido Neighborhood Units No.3 and No.4 - Engineering File No. 805-04 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Direct the City Clerk (by motion, pursuant to Resolution No.1 0944, adopted 12/5/88) to <br />accept on behalf of the City, the following Grant Deeds for Lido Neighborhood Units No. <br />3 and No.4, offered by M.J. Brock & Sons, Inc.: <br /> <br />);> Grant Deed for Waterway Parcels A and B (Unit No.3.); <br />);> Grant Deed for Open Space Parcel C (Unit No.3); <br />);> Grant Deed for Waterway Parcel A (Unit No.4); <br />);> Grant Deed for Open Space Parcel C (Unit No.4), <br /> <br />and to record a certified copy of the Resolution and Minute Order with the deeds in the <br />office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County. <br /> <br />Background <br />Fee titles for the open space parcels and waterway parcels (which are required to be <br />deeded to the City by the Conditions of Approval for the Lido Neighborhood <br />Subdivision) are being dedicated to the City of Redwood City by M.J. Brock and Sons, <br />Inc., the developer. These parcels are located on Lido Neighborhood Units No.3 and <br />No.4. This type of grant deed is usually accepted at the time the Final Map is <br />approved, but the legal descriptions were not prepared until recently. <br /> <br />The developer's engineers, Brian-Kangas-Foulk have prepared the legal documents for <br />the grant deeds to the City of Redwood City. The documents have been reviewed by <br />Engineering and Construction, and they are ready for City Council action. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />There are no fiscal impacts to the City by this action, but upon acceptance of the <br />construction improvements for Lido Neighborhood Units No.3 and No.4, the City's <br />Public Works Services Department and Parks, Recreation, and Community Services <br />Department will be responsible for the maintenance of these areas. <br /> <br />O<:~..IL.. ~J&). ~ <br /> <br />Lowell L.W.
