�.3 - �� <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. This Council hereby consents pursuant to the provisions of Section <br /> 36521.5 of the Law, to the formation of a Parking and Business Improvement <br /> � Area ("Area") to be known as the "San Mateo County Tourism Business <br /> Improvement DistricY', and to the inclusion of territory within the corporate limits <br /> of this City in said area and hereby authorizes the City of Burlingame, California <br /> to conduct all necessary and appropriate proceedings to establish said Area; <br /> . provided, that the San Mateo County Tourism Business Improvement District <br /> shall be established solely for the purpose of promoting tourism within the Area <br /> and shall levy assessments upon the operation of commercial lodging facilities <br /> (and shall be defined in the Ordinance establishing the Area) for that purpose. <br /> 2.
