One change order was issued at a total
of $12,697.50, which represents 6.0% of the original bid price. This change order is for
the adjustment of quantities, and for additional work of resurfacing Jefferson Avenue
and Whipple Avenue, which were not part of the original contract. Jefferson Avenue
and Whipple Avenue were added to this project after the Council rejected the bids for
the Citywide Street Resurfacing Project, due to the high cost of the gap-grated special
asphalt mix needed for that project.
Fiscal Impacts
Funds in the amount of $1.9 million were appropriated in the 1999-2000 Capital
Improvement Program budget as part of the Gas Tax Construction and Transportation
(Measure "A") Funds for the Roadway Managment System.
_, ,
 ' n ' _ . _
.,v—` .,.- ,;_ . . ` ,
M.
