�.3• Q�� <br /> AGREEMENT � <br /> PREPARATION OF AN INITIAL STUDY AND <br /> MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br /> (CHILDCARE FACILITY AT REDWOOD SHORES) <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> , 2000, by and befinreen the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a � <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and LCP ASSOCIATES, <br /> of Los Altos, California ("Consultant"); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, Max Keech (the "Developer") has submitted a proposal for <br /> the construction of a two-story structure consisting of a 12,000 sq. ft childcare <br /> facility and 5,000 sq. ft. of administration/office space at the end of Twin Dolphin <br /> Drive in Redwood Shores of the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of environmental <br /> studies and documentation is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> � Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code �21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br /> implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR �15000, et seq.) and <br /> the City's regulations implementive thereof ("City's CEQA Regulations"; <br /> Resolution No. 6882, as amended); and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City's CEQA Regulations, City has determined <br /> that said environmental studies and documentation shall be prepared pursuant <br /> to contract entered into with Consultant subject to funding therefor by the <br /> Developer; and <br /> Agmt-428 1 . <br /> Sh/rwGcouncil/agmt <br /> FXS/fs <br /> 12/08/00 <br />
