<br />DES:dft <br /> <br />9/30/91 (Ol2/3l) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />10/7 /91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11616 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. l4 UNDER MASTER AGREEMENT FOR <br />LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL-AID FOR URBAN TRANSPORTATION <br />SYSTEM PROJECTS FOR FUNDING BRIDGE REPAIRS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City entered into a Master <br /> <br />Agreement for Federal-Aid Program on November 3, 1977 pursuant to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Federal-Aid <br /> <br />For Urban <br /> <br />System Projects <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />provisions <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Paragraph <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Article II of the aforementioned agreement, <br /> <br />this Council seeks <br /> <br />funding for transportation system repairs, consisting of seismic <br /> <br />retro-fitting of the Bridge Parkway bridge in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Program Supplement No. <br /> <br />014 to the aforementioned <br /> <br />agreement providing for the aforesaid funding has been presented <br /> <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Program Supplement No. 014 to the Master Agreement for <br /> <br />Federal-Aid <br /> <br />Program entered <br /> <br />into by <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />Department <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Transportation, on November 3, 1977, in the form of Exhibit "A" <br /> <br />hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />approved, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute, and to attest thereto, <br /> <br />
