<br />FXS:dft <br /> <br />10/3/91 (033/30) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />10/7 /91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11615 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND KAINOS HOME AND <br />TRAINING CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED FOR <br />THE IMPROVEMENTS OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2555 <br />MIDDLEFIELD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Kainos <br /> <br />Home <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Training <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Developmentally Disabled <br /> <br />("Kainos" ) <br /> <br />proposes to install a fire <br /> <br />sprinkler system and construct an expansion of the upper floor to <br /> <br />provide additional work area and storage space at the property <br /> <br />located at 2555 Middlefield Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos has requested monetary assistance from the <br /> <br />City and County for installation of the sprinkler system and the <br /> <br />construction of the additional to the upper floor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Supplemental Agreement to <br /> <br />Agreement Providing for Acquisition and Operation of Facility for <br /> <br />Training of the Developmentally Disabled (KAINOS)", by and among <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />and Kainos <br /> <br />Home and Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled (form <br /> <br />dated 09/17/RR) <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br />file <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, and to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />,__e'_,-,.-.__.., - <br />
