DES:dft 9/17/91 (006/31) 0 RIG I N A L 9/23/91 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 11612 ---------- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1991-92 WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT PHASE I; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11578 adopted August 12, 1991, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Water Main Replacement Project for 1991 - 1992, Phase I; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, thirteen bids were received for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, Dan Caputo Company, San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said bidder; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of Dan Caputo Company, in the amount of Eight Hundred Sixty-Four Thousand Thirty-Five and No/lOO Dollars ($864,035.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated September 10, 1991, for the 1991-92 Water Main Replacement Project, Phase I, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2. That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 09/18/91) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and Dan Caputo Company, providing for the aforesaid improvements, a copy of which _...."--- '-T"'"'~"
